Aaron Cox Obituary, Death – On Saturday, December 3, 2022, our sweet and loving Aaron Jerry Lee Cox walked his final path and left this world behind. Aaron was the first kid to be born in Washington Parish in the year 1982. He was born on January 1, 1982, in the morning in the town of Pine, Louisiana to his parents, Reverend Jerry W. and Brenda Gail Tyner Cox. He attended Faith Tabernacle Christian Academy throughout his education and grew up in the town of Pine, Louisiana.
Aaron was a skilled guitarist and singer in his own right. During his senior year, he traveled to Nashville to record his own gospel CD. Subsequently, he was featured on the CD that was produced by the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock. He was quite good at anything that had to do with riding four-wheelers because he enjoyed doing it so much. When Aaron was present, you could always count on having a good time. He was the center of attention at every single family gathering, and everyone he ever met adored him.
His wife, Lashonda Renee Rowley Cox of Stringer, Mississippi, his daughters McKayla Jordan and Ariana Lenee’ Cox, his son Addison Jerry Lee Cox, his father Reverend Jerry W. Cox, and his sisters and brothers-in-law Pamela G. and Jeff Dykes of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tammy S. and Doug Hickman of Mt. Hermon, Louisiana, and Deborah A. and Kelvin Thomas of Thomas, Louisiana survive In addition, a large number of additional friends and family members. Aaron’s mother, Brenda Tyner Cox, as well as his grandfather and grandmother, Reverend Edward Lee Cox and Earline Cox, all passed away before him.
On Wednesday, December 7th, visitation will be held at Faith Tabernacle Church from 11:00 am until 2:30 pm. The funeral will take place at the church at 2:30 p.m., and the following ministers will preside over the service: Rev. Jeff Dykes, Rev. Nathaniel Hickman, Rev. W.J. Holland, Rev. John Hair, Rev. Loy Tolbird, Rev. Wesley Jackson, Rev. Mark Copeland, Rev. Nathen Holmes, and Rev. Joel Holmes.
