Aj Walker Obituary, Death – A. J. Hap Walker, 82 years old, a resident of the Hurley community, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. After being born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Hap joined the United States Air Force so that he could serve his country and become a pilot. He had worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Ingalls Shipbuilding for a considerable amount of time before making the decision to retire from the company.
He spent his entire life as a devoted member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, a member of the National Rifle Association, and a member of the American Legion. In addition, he was a member of the American Legion. Hap will be remembered by his wife, children, and grandchildren as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who took great joy in playing practical jokes on his descendants.
He found great joy in being outside and participating in activities such as fishing and hunting, as well as anything that required him to be near water. Both Hap’s ability to whistle and the Waffle House he owned were well-known in their respective communities. His wife Stella Walker, both of his parents Allie and Stella Walker, as well as his son Carey Walker, all passed away before he did.
Hap is survived by his wife, Annalee Walker, a sister named Janet DeForrest, children named Ritchie (Paula) Walker, Timmie Walker, Annalee Walker (Tommy) Campbell, Julieanna Walker, Marie Ann Cox, Cynthia Ella (Jeff) Luntz, and Alan Cox, as well as grandchildren named Lee Walker, Hayes Walker, Caroline Campbell, and Thomas Campbell. In addition, Hap is survived by great-grandchildren named Alan Cox and Julieanna Walker In addition, Hap’s sister, Janet DeForrest, is one of the people who will carry on after him.
The Campbell family consists of individuals with names such as Margaret Campbell, Katherine Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Shannon Luntz, and Jordan Walker.
