Amanda Taylor Obituary, DeathOn Saturday, November 26, 2022, Amanda Mae Taylor, who was a resident of Vermillion, South Dakota, lost her life in a horrific car accident. A memorial service will be held at the Hansen Funeral Home in Vermillion on Monday, December 5, at 11:00 a.m., prior to which there will be a public visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the same day. After the service is over, the interment of the ashes will take place at Bluff View Cemetery in Vermillion. Following the service at the graveside, there will be a lunch and additional celebration of Amanda’s life held at the Eagles Club, and everyone is welcome to join the family there.

Amanda’s parents, Francis and Mary Lou, gave birth to her on April 7th, 1983 in the city of Yankton, in the state of South Dakota. She had her primary education in Vermillion, which is located in South Dakota. On September 14, 2004, Amanda wed Robert Taylor, and the couple ultimately welcomed four children into the world: Emily, Mason, Parker, and Sophie. She spent the majority of her life taking care of her children while acting as a mother who stayed at home. She enjoyed activities such as crocheting, cooking, gardening, fishing, relaxing with music, and assisting those who were in need. Amanda was the person who kept the celebration going strong and she had the ability to make anyone laugh. She always had a quick reaction ready and a smile that was infectious to others.

Amanda is survived by her husband Rob Taylor and their children Emily, Mason, Parker, and Sophie all of Vermillion, South Dakota; her stepson Rivers Simonton of Upper Lake, California; her father Dan Goeden of Vermillion, South Dakota; her mother-in-law Susan Parker of Fresno, California; and her siblings Melisa Goeden of Omaha, Nebraska; Johanna (Rich) Braesch of Omaha, Nebraska; Brad (Jennifer) Goeden of Yankt

Her biological father Francis, her mother Mary Lou, her brother Nick Goeden, her nephew Lambert Goeden, and her father-in-law Steve Simonton all passed away before she was born. Her paternal grandparents Edward (LaVerne) Goeden and Louies (Mabel) Binder also passed away before she was born.
