Annette Paul Obituary, Death – Annette Lee Paul, who was 59 years old and originally from Red Oak, Iowa, passed away at the CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska on December 8, 2022. Annette Herring, the daughter of Don and Anne (Hultquist) Herring, was the first child to be born in Montgomery County on January 1, 1963, in Red Oak, Iowa. She was the first child to be born in the county. She attended Red Oak schools throughout her childhood and graduated from the local high school there in 1981. On May 21, 1983, she tied the knot with Darren Paul in Red Oak, Iowa.
They stayed in the Red Oak area throughout their entire marriage, making it their permanent home. Annette has spent a significant portion of her professional life working in the produce department of HyVee, CDS, and most recently HyVee. Some of Annette’s favorite things to do included things like cooking, baking, camping, going on road trips, going for walks with Jason and the dogs, going to Broadway performances with Susan, going to concerts, fishing from a boat, playing scrabble with her mother, tending to her flower garden, feeding the birds, and rooting for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Annette was able to participate in the tissue donation procedure as a final act of kindness, which will hopefully brighten Christmas for a number of people and bring them a little bit closer together.
Her parents and her brother-in-law, Doug Bond, both passed away before she was born. Doug Bond was her brother-in-law. Her children, including her son Jason Paul of Red Oak, Iowa, her daughter Susan Niswander of Ankeny, Iowa, her sisters Donna Roby and husband Mike of Red Oak and Kelly Lorimor and husband Mark of Shenandoah, Iowa, her brothers-in-law Jerry Paul and wife Deb of Colorado and Dave Paul and wife Mindy, as well as her grandchildren Madison, Olivia, and Lillian Niswander of Ankeny, Iowa, and grandchildren also survive her.
From 10:30 a.m. on Friday, the 16th of December in 2022. A visitation honoring the life of the deceased will take place at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel from noon until one in the afternoon. to 12:30 p.m. At the Mamre Cemetery in Stanton, Iowa, a private funeral service for the family will be held. It has been suggested to the family that they hold memorial services.
