Bernice Grenier Obituary, Death – Not too long ago, Bernice Grenier passed away. She was a former president of the Atwood Hose Ladies Auxiliary and had held that position in the past. Bernice was one of the first people to join the organization after it was founded. We are forced to let all of our friends and followers know that she has passed away, and doing so fills us with an overwhelming sense of loss. This morning, Bernice passed away serenely in the presence of her loved ones and surrounded by those who were important to her family. During the time that she was active in the Auxiliary in the Wauregan community, she was able to make an impact on a sizeable number of the community’s residents, which allowed her to leave a lasting legacy.

Wake services will be held at the funeral home in Plainfield that is owned and operated by Dougherty Brothers on Wednesday evenings beginning at five o’clock and continuing until seven o’clock. The memorial services that will be held are going to be summarized in the following outline. The funeral mass that will be held on Thursday morning at ten o’clock will take place at St. John’s Church in Plainfield. The service will be held on Thursday. The burial is going to take place at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family has requested that you consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in their memory in lieu of sending flowers. We would like you to know that Bernice and the other members of the Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary are in our thoughts and prayers. We also want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as well. I hope that you find the peace that passes all understanding.
