Betty Turner Obituary, Death – Betty Turner, who was a passenger, was brought to the emergency room, and the staff there determined that she had passed away shortly after arriving there after being transported there. According to the statements made by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Turner was one of three people who were traveling in a 2005 Infiniti G35 at the time of the collision. The other two passengers in the vehicle were a woman from Tulsa and a man from Henryetta. At this point in time, it is unknown precisely what their connection to Turner entails in terms of what it is that they have in common with him.
On the Turner Turnpike, both the Infiniti and the 2022 Peterbilt semi were moving in the same direction (eastbound) when, according to the troopers, the Infiniti made what was referred to as an “unsafe lane change” into the inside lane. The semi was traveling in the opposite direction (westbound) on the Turner Turnpike. Because of this, the semi and the Infiniti were involved in a collision. When the driver of the Infiniti tried to make a U-turn into westbound traffic, he was struck by the semi that was traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Infiniti was injured.
The driver was taken to a hospital in the area after the accident, where they were found to be in critical condition due to the fact that they had not been wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. In addition, according to the officers, Turner was not wearing his seatbelt at any point while he was operating a motor vehicle. It is hoped that the collision will not result in any injuries for the other passenger in the Infiniti who was traveling in that vehicle. Both the semi’s driver and the passenger who was riding along with him were able to walk away from the accident unscathed. The unsafe lane change that was made was the primary contributor to the accident that occurred as a result of it.
