Carl Logan Obituary, Death – Carl Ray Logan, Sr., 67, who passed away at his home in Rayne on November 25, 2022, at 7:40 P.M., will be honored with funeral services on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 12:30 p.m., which will be held in the chapel of the Duhon Funeral Home in Rayne. Carl Ray Logan, Srfuneral .’s will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Pastor Tyron Charlow is going to preside over the services that will be held.

Rayne’s Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church Cemetery will play host to the interment services for the deceased. The family has asked for the visitation to begin on Saturday at 9:00 AM and continue until the time of the services, which will all take place in the chapel of the Duhon Funeral Home in Rayne. Carl Ray Sr. was born on February 20, 1955 to the late Lumuis Logan Sr. and Cecile Simon Logan, who had also previously had a son named Carl Ray.

On Friday, November 25, 2022, God called Carl Ray Sr. home to be with him forever in the place where he would spend eternity. Carl Ray Sr. was born and raised in Rayne, Louisiana, where he spent a good portion of his working life at the Rice Mill. He had a zest for life and knew how to party like there was no tomorrow. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, engaging in lighthearted banter, and listening to music.

His parents, Lumuis and Cecile Logan, as well as four of his brothers, Lumuis Logan Jr., Lester Logan Sr., Bobby Logan, and Lionel Logan, passed away before Carl Ray Sr. Carl Ray Sr. is survived by his four sons, Carl Ray Jr. (Dohna) Logan of Ada, Oklahoma, Lionel Logan of Rayne, Louisiana, Jessie Logan of Norman, Oklahoma, and Tyrone Logan Sr. (Veronica Jackson) of Vernon, Texas.

These four men will always treasure the precious memories that their fathers left behind. There are seven Logan sisters: Linda Williams, Brenda Guidry, Marie (LJ) Nixon, Claudette Logan, Patricia (Brian) Francis, and Sheila Logan. Linda Williams and Brenda Guidry are twins. Phillip Logan, Veronica’s brother, is the only sibling. In addition, he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends in addition to his 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

At the funeral service, the people who will serve as pallbearers are going to be Tyrone Logan, Sr., Zachary Logan, Barry Roberts, Leon Cardell Guidry, Reggie Guidry, Sr., and Kenneth Eaglin. Lionel Logan, Jr., Tyrone Logan, Jr., Avery Logan, Adrian “Rush” Logan, Phillip Logan, Keivon Logan, Anwar Logan, Reggie Guidry, Jr., Javontre Guidry, Darrell Logan, Larry Logan, Lester Logan, Jr., and Dallas Simon, Jr. will serve as honorary pallbearers during the service. Additionally, Dallas Simon, Jr., will serve as a pallbearer.
