Chas Everitt Obituary, Death – Berry Everitt, the Chief Executive Officer of Chas Everitt International Property Group, shared the news with his friends over the weekend that “a giant tree has fallen in the forest.” The tragic accident that occurred on November 13 and caused my dear father to break his femur and hip ultimately resulted in his passing this past Saturday, November 26. Because he had pneumonia, he was considered a high-risk patient and was moved from the operating room to the intensive care unit (ICU) after the procedure was completed successfully.
He turned in a strong performance and was the first one to cross the finish line, placing him ahead of the other competitors. It’s possible that some of you are perplexed as to why he was climbing a ladder. Because he never stopped doing what he enjoyed, he was able to achieve great success. It is unfortunate that he will no longer be with us. And I learned a lot from him thanks to his excellent instruction. Charles, who was born in 1935 in Caracas, Venezuela, moved to South Africa after his father retired so that he could fulfill his dream of becoming a farmer in Ermelo.
He struck up a conversation with Tilla, who was present at the gathering and was the daughter of a neighboring farmer. Following Charles’ meteoric rise to the top of the pharmaceutical industry on a global scale, he and his wife Tilla made the life-changing decision to leave the corporate world behind in 1980 and instead establish the first Chas Everitt Estates.
Charles remained actively invested in the development and future of the company despite having retired in 1998. He was justifiably proud of the opportunities the company had provided to hundreds of men and women across the country, allowing them to better themselves professionally, provide for their families, and take on leadership roles in their communities.
