In 1999, she relocated to Andover, where she established Positive Pets as her company. She has referred to Andover as her home since 1999. Lisa has dedicated her life to upholding the rights of animals, particularly bully-breed dogs. an advocate for animal rights. She made an effort to overturn the statute that prohibited discrimination based on breed. Despite having numerous clients, friends, and volunteers, the canine community will miss her the most.

The Wakefield McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, will host her funeral service on Monday at 9 a.m. The funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion Street, in Wakefield, Massachusetts. At 10:00 a.m., the service begins. The McDonald Funeral Home will be open for visits on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. On Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00, anyone who desire to express their condolences may do so.
