Clyde LaVell Obituary, Death – At the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming, on the 30th of November, 2022, Clyde LaVell Siler passed away. He had lived in Green River, Wyoming, for the entirety of his life. Mr. Siler was born in Green River, Wyoming on November 27, 1940. His parents were Findley Fernard Siler and Genevieve Ruble, and he is their son. He received his education in the Manilla, Utah, schools. In 1958, Mr. Siler wed Judy K. Simmons in Evanston, Wyoming; the couple went on to have five children together before divorcing in the years that followed
He had served his country honorably in the National Guard of the United States. After a 40-year career at Operating Engineers, Mr. Siler retired from the company in 1997 with the title of Engineer. He was a willing participant in life and enjoyed activities such as spending time with his family, going camping, hunting, and fishing, flying airplanes, and fishing. His two sons, David Siler of Green River, Wyoming, and Richard Siler of Rawlins, Wyoming, as well as his three daughters, Marlene Siler of Green River, Wyoming, Kathleen “Cat” Siler of Rawlins, Wyoming, and Thera Siler of Casper, Wyoming, are among his surviving family members.
one brother, Jerry Siler, and his wife Mary, who reside in Green River, Wyoming; four grandchildren, Amanda Engstrom and husband Chad; Joseph McMahon and companion Angie; Jayde Spaeny and husband David; Chentel York; five great-grandchildren, Eric Engstrom; Olivianna McMahon; Soraya McMahon; Charles McMahon; Leonitas Spaeny; and several cousins; nieces and nephews.
His parents and one of his sons, Clyde Siler, as well as two of his brothers, Theron Siler and Hugh Siler, and one of his sisters, Lorena Dow, all passed away before him.
