Currie Edith Obituary, Death – In the early morning hours of December 1, 2022, she passed away in the comfort of Fairview Manor, which is located in Almonte. She had her family by her side. Muriel (nee Sadler) spent the majority of her life at the farm on Currie Side Road. She passed away there at the age of 91 years old. Muriel was born in Pakenham, and she spent her childhood there. Her husband, George Thomas Currie, had already passed away prior to her own passing. Her devoted son, Kevin George Currie, will carry on her legacy in the future (Wendy). Devoted and loving daughter of the late Gordon and Myrtle Sadler, as well as devoted and loving sister to the late Earl and Stuart Sadler.
Parents Gordon and Myrtle Sadler both passed away before she was born. Her brother Art Sadler, as well as her sisters-in-law Patricia Sadler and Maryann Sadler, are among those who are able to remember her after her passing (the late Phyllis). Ruby Marie Heinrichs, who is her great-grandchild, wishes her granddaughters Melissa Marie Currie (Gilberto) and Aimie Lynn Currie (Brandon) a happy “Gramma” title. The cherished niece of Flora Sadler who passed away not too long ago. Her nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends will miss her terribly, as will other friends and acquaintances. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the C.R. Gamble Funeral Home & Chapel Inc. on Friday, December 9, 2022, between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 pm and 6:00 and 8:00 pm. The funeral home is located at 127 Church Street in Almonte, Ontario, and can be reached at 613-256-3313. On Saturday, December 10, 2022, the worship service will start at eleven in the morning and take place in the chapel. A reception will be held at the Almonte Legion-Branch 240 from one to four o’clock in the afternoon, and the interment will take place at the Guthrie United Cemetery in Clayton, Ontario.
