Dale Barnfield Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you that Dale Barnfield has passed away. Our hearts go out to his family and friends. Dale was a committed and longtime member of the TRHC Executive Board in addition to serving as a TRHC Coach. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the Barnfield family during this difficult time. On December 4, 2022, Dale Thomas Barnfield, who was 54 years old, passed dead unexpectedly. Dale was the eighth and final child to be born to Brick residents Harold and Veronica Barnfield on June 4, 1968. Following his graduation from Brick Memorial High School in 1986, he attended Stockton State College to earn a degree in business.
Dale is the youngest of eight children. After completing his education, he entered the building materials industry and quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a store manager for 84 Lumber. Dale wed the woman he would spend the rest of his life with, Heather Sennett, in 1995, and the couple now has two great children: Dylan, who is 21 years old, and Rachel, who is 19 years old. He was devoted to his wife and children and delighted in accompanying them to all of their sporting events, which included activities such as soccer, ice hockey, skating, and surfing. He was also a huge music fan and enjoyed taking his children to see live performances at outdoor venues and concerts.
Dale was a jovial person who delighted in spending time with his family and friends. After working in the construction industry for a while, Dale decided to switch careers and joined the Turnpike Authority, where he quickly advanced through the ranks to become the Director of Procurement and Management. Dale was a member of the Board of Directors for the Toms River Blackhawks ice hockey program in addition to being a coach for the team. He enjoyed taking his family on an annual trip to Pulaski, New York, to fish for salmon. Heather, Dylan, and Rachel are the only members of Dale’s family who have survived after his passing.
In addition to this, he is survived by his seven brothers and sisters, who are named as follows: Glenn Barnfield, Cheryl Liss, Deborah Kasyan, Michael Barnfield, Mitchel Barnfield, Scot Barnfield, and Sue Murtagh. Dale has a large number of nieces and nephews, as well as grandnieces and grandnephews, all of whom are extremely devoted to him. At the East Dover First Aid Building in Toms River on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., the family will be there to receive condolences from friends and neighbors.
