Dale Graham Obituary, Death – At the Thomas County Central High School on December 1, 2022, there will be a Celebration of Life Service held in honor of Dr. Dale Gramling Graham beginning at 5:00 pm. Waukeenah Methodist Church Cemetery will play host to a solemn service during which she will be laid to rest. The family members Conner Oby Graham, Sophie Joy Graham, and Jackson Dean Mann will serve as honorary pallbearers. At Archbold Memorial Hospital on the 24th day of November in 2022, Dr. Graham passed away. She was the daughter of the late Daily Inman Gramling and Louise Crawford Gramling and was born on December 24th, 1946 in the city of Macon, Georgia.

Thomasville High School awarded Dr. Dale Graham her high school diploma in 1965, and she continued her education at Valdosta State University to earn her bachelor’s degree. She had such a strong passion for teaching that she decided to further her education by attending Valdosta State University for her master’s degree and then moving on to Florida State University for her doctorate in education. Instead of being a pastime, education was a driving force in her life. She instructed students of every conceivable age.

Even after she was no longer the students’ “teacher,” it was not unusual for her to continue providing tutoring services to them either in her own home or over the phone. Over the course of her adult life, she devoted more than half of it to facilitating “ah-huh” moments for other people. If you are from Thomasville, it is highly likely that “Dr. Graham” was your teacher at some point. Her favorite thing to do in her spare time was to make crafts and bless other people with Christmas decorations or decorations for any other holiday that required decorative bows or wreaths.

Her family, whom she cherished more than anything else in the world, was the thing that she held dearest in her life. She lived for the opportunity to dote on her grandchildren and for the Thanksgiving holiday trip that her family took every year. She leaves behind to honor and cherish her memory daughter Chrissy Graham Mann (James), of Thomasville; son Oby Inman Graham (Christa), of Thomasville; brother Daily “Buddy” Inman Graham (Debra), of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren Conner Oby Graham, Sophie Joy Graham, and Jackson Dean Mann. If you would like to send flowers, they can be sent to TCCHS for the Celebration of Life on December 1st, 2022. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Thomas County Schools to build an outdoor classroom in her honor to further learning.
