Danielle Potochnik Obituary, Death – Yesterday, our group was struck with the devastating loss of a coworker who was also a dear friend. For the past 17 years, it has been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with Danielle Potochnik. Danielle was a strong supporter of both her teams and her patients in the hospital. She took in stray pets that were tough to love and rescued injured wildlife that she found on the side of the road because she had a strong compassion for all the animals that she came into contact with.  We will miss her contagious enthusiasm and the reassuring grin she always had. We want to urge everyone to talk about a favorite recollection or experience they have had with Danielle over the years.  ~ Avets

Not so much a memory but being able to go to work and knowing anytime my Ellie (smelly Ellie to Dani) was in the hospital, Dani was taking the best of care of her. I’m gonna miss her and all our silly conversations. Everyone took a big loss with this girl and so much bigger for her family love you girl! You’re missed by so many

Dani was a truly amazing person. You never knew what the day would bring with her, always telling a new story or a funny thing that happened. She cared deeply about all the creatures. The AVETS family won’t be the same without her.

Such a loss to the veterinary community. Dani’s legacy will live on in the countless technicians she trained, mentored, and welcomed to AVETS. When I think of Dani, I will forever think of her nail polish addiction and her amazing ability to protect her perfect manicure from the effects of isopropyl alcohol. A true talent. To the entire AVETS family, my deepest sympathy for such a tragic loss of a truly remarkable person

Such a loss way too soon. I too had the privilege of working with Dani at AVETS. Such a caring and talented technician who quickly became a resource for our ICU patients (and so much more). I too loved her authenticity and her positive energy that always inspired a smile! May her impact live on forever. Much peace and love to all who are sharing this loss.

I did not know Dani as well as many of her other colleagues however her absence will not be lost on me. She truly cared for her patients and clients, and held those working around her to the highest of standards because of wanting the very best for our patients. I learned a lot from Dani, and my litter of kittens never went without lots of her cuddles every time I brought them in. She will be missed by many.
