Someone who was a tremendous help to both the Riverside Youth Football Club and the Chester le Street Town Youth Football Club while serving as Chairman of those organizations. Dave Winter was unable to prevail in his fight against cancer and ultimately passed away as a result. Because he was such a wonderful father, we will miss very much having him as a part of our lives because he was there.
Have a peaceful rest, for the entirety of our beings, both physical and spiritual, has been shattered. I want you to know, Dave, that all of us here at this very moment are thinking about you and your family. Please take comfort in the fact that we care. Our father, Dave Winter, lost his fight with cancer this morning after a protracted and difficult struggle against the disease. It breaks the hearts of everyone in our family to have to tell you this.
Even though our hearts are broken, we are thankful that he was able to pass away peacefully with his close family by his side and is now at peace, even though we will miss him very much.
