Effie Wagers Obituary, Death – Effie Wagers died On Thursday, December 1, 2022, Effie Bell Wagers, who had been a resident of Bulan, Kentucky all of her life, passed away at the age of 87 at the Hazard Health and Rehab Center. Effie was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Hiner for more than 60 years, and during that time she played the role of a mother figure for the congregation there. She held dear the opportunities she had to spend time with those she cared about, both family and friends.
Effie was the kind of person who never met a stranger, and she had a way of leaving other people with a feeling that was both heartwarming and comforting. She was the daughter of the late Marshall Stidham and the late Versie Combs Stidham. Both of her parents had passed away before she was born. Before she was even born, neither of her parents were still alive anymore. Additionally, her husband had already passed away prior to her passing: Willie Wagers had two brothers, four sisters, and one granddaughter named Effie Betty.
His daughter’s name was Ethel Gail Combs, and her son’s name was Jake Wagers. Effie Betty was his granddaughter.
She is living her life to the fullest. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Maggard’s Mtn. View Chapel on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. At this time, Maggard’s Mtn. View Chapel is in charge of the arrangements, and they will host the visitation. Carlo White and Rocky Jett will preside over the funeral service that will be held at Maggard’s Mtn. View Chapel on Monday, December 5, 2022 at one o’clock in the afternoon. The date of the event is December 5th. Hiner Cemetery, which is located in Bulan, Kentucky, has been selected as the site for the interment.
