Up until this past weekend, Evan was working as an umpire, which was one of his favorite aspects of the game. However, he had to step down from his position. He continued to serve in this capacity all the way up until the weekend just gone by. As a mark of respect during the upcoming weekend’s games, the umpires will be wearing black arm bands, and we encourage any clubs that play in the area to do the same in honor of a great sporting contributor in the local community.
