Frances Labelle Obituary, Death – Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends of Frances Labelle, who was a devoted charity leader in our community and a friend of the HSN Foundation. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Frances, who was 91 years old when she passed away on December 5th, did so in a quiet manner at her home in Cochrane.

Frances and her husband Marcel are the proud founders of the Labelle Foundation, which they used to make a significant contribution toward the development of the Labelle Innovation and Learning Centre in the amount of $5 million in 2019. Frances and Marcel are also very pleased of their accomplishment. This gift, which was considered historic at the time it was given, was made to help ensure that residents of the north would be among the first to benefit from breakthrough techniques and treatment methods learned at the new learning facility.

This gift was made to help ensure that residents of the north would be among the first to benefit from this gift. The brand-new building has a sizable presence at Health Sciences North today, and it acts as a hub of activity for the thousands of students that are enrolled at the institution. The legacy that Frances and Marcel have established through their generosity will be able to be carried on by future generations of medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, technicians, and paramedics, who are fortunate enough to be able to receive their education in a facility of world-class caliber that is outfitted with cutting-edge technology and equipment.

This will make it possible for future generations of medical professionals to continue the work of Frances and Marcel. Because of the kind way in which they have spent their lives and the unwavering commitment they have shown to the cause of enhancing the quality of healthcare in Northeastern Ontario, we will be eternally grateful to them.
