Pheobe, his golden retriever, and his daughter Sophie Grace are the two things that mean the most to him in all of the world.

They could always be found having fun in the great outdoors, whether it be skiing in the breathtaking Utah mountains, fly fishing on the clear waters of the Provo River, or hiking and biking in the Wasatch canyons that were close by. Gabriel held a deep and abiding dedication to causes including the defense of the natural world, the advancement of equality and social justice, and the provision of assistance to others in any form they required it. The love that he had for his daughter, as well as the love that he had for his family and friends, was the primary motivation for the way that he lived his life. He lived each day to its absolute maximum potential.
