Gary Fox Obituary,  Death – Nicktown, who had been ill for some time, passed away on October 21st, 2022 at home. He was the son of William “Arch” and Katherine (Wills) Fox, both of whom passed away before his birth on August 5, 1948, in Altoona. Annette (Dumm) Fox, his devoted wife of 28 years, survives, along with their children R. Curtis Stoltz, who is engaged to Kayla Jones of Manor, Pennsylvania; Kimber Lee Ann Riva and Kristin Louise Christina, both of Nicktown; and Katelin Tessa Fox, who is presently enrolled at Marshall University in Huntingdon, West Virginia; grandchildren Arianna and Link Stoltz, as well as Wilder Riva. In addition to having a large number of nieces and nephews, he is the brother of Karen (Jeff) Segar, Kathy (Brian) Baker, and Brian (Carol) Fox.

A veteran of the United States Navy and current participant in the activities of the Carrolltown American Legion Post 506. Ebensburg Center, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, an employee who has since retired. The great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and any and all sports were among Gary’s favorite activities. He started playing softball and baseball when he was a kid growing up in Loretto, Pennsylvania, and he didn’t stop until he became a coach for his own children’s teams. He was a devoted fan of the sports teams that represented Pittsburgh.

In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the movies, spending time outdoors during the summer, attending concerts, going on gambling trips with his wife, and taking vacations near the water, particularly at Virginia Beach, which was one of his favorite vacation spots. His devoted dogs, Lady, Duffy, Gingie, Winnie, and especially Bear, will miss him very much, and his family will miss him as well. In accordance with Gary’s wishes, his loved ones will gather in private for a memorial service to celebrate his life.
