Gerald Scheetz Obituary, Death – On Friday, December 2, 2022, Gerald M. Scheetz, Sr., who was 75 years old, passed away. He lived in the township of Lower Mount Bethel in Pennsylvania during the time. He had fallen ill when he was at home. He was the son of Edith (DeHart), who had died away by the time he was born, and Girard Scheetz, Sr., who gave birth to him on February 4, 1947 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. He was given the name of his mother, who had already passed away.

The most of his life was spent working in the steel business for a number of different companies, the most important of which were Ingersoll Rand and Atlantic States, amongst others. He worked in this field for the majority of his life. Prior to beginning his attendance at St. Rocco’s Catholic Church, he was a member of St. Phillip and James’ Catholic Church in the neighborhood. After that, he decided to transfer his enrollment to St. Rocco’s.

Both the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR racing were extremely important to Gerald, who was a devoted fan of both. He was a passionate fan of the great outdoors and an active participant in the Stockertown Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed being outside and being active. More than anything else, he was looking forward to spending time outside with his son, especially fishing and hunting. His family includes his wife of 55 years, Charlotte (Rasley) Scheetz; his children, Gerald Scheetz, Jr. (wife Linda), Charnell Socha (husband Paul), and DeeAnn Keen (husband Paul); grandchildren; greatgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Charlotte (Rasley) Scheetz. In addition, he has a number of great-grandchildren who will miss him. All of his siblings, including Girard “Pete” Scheetz, Jr., Thomas Scheetz, Catherine Tigar, and Patricia Harrison, had already passed away prior to his own passing. As per his instruction, there will be no service of any kind, including food and beverages, at this time. At this moment, the Ashton Funeral Home, which is located in Easton, is the organization that is tasked with making the appropriate arrangements.
