Goldie Bowman Obituary, Death – When Goldie passed away on November 30th, 2022, she was in the Arbor Care facility in Neligh, where she had been a resident since the day she moved there. Goldie Bowman made her entrance into the world on June 11th, 1934, in the town of Maurice, Iowa, in the United States of America. Gerrit and Florence (Popma) Kots were her parents. Gerrit was her father, and Florence was her mother. Her primary schooling was completed in Maurice, which is also where she was born.
She made the decision when she was only 14 years old to spend the rest of her life devoting herself to the service of the Lord, and she has not wavered from that commitment since making the decision. She tied the knot with the man she had been dating for a considerable amount of time, Max Bowman, on February 14, 1958. 1958 was the year in which the ceremony was carried out. At one point in their lives, each of them could have claimed the state of Colorado, Minnesota, or South Dakota their respective home.
1978 was the year that brought the family to the realization that Elgin, Nebraska would be their permanent place of residence for the foreseeable future. Goldie found the most fulfillment in activities such as quilting, canning, and tending to her garden. Goldie made it a point to pay a visit to her loved ones and catch up with old acquaintances while she was away on vacation. She had a fantastic time participating in each of these activities.
Max Bowman, Goldie’s husband, is the only person who will remember her once she has passed away; he is the only one who loved her. Her children Eugene Bowman, Loren Bowman, and Janice Osmera, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her offspring also include Janice Osmera. Her husband Jim Osmera, both of her brothers, all of her sisters, both of her parents, and both of her brothers all died before she did. Her husband had also passed away prior to her own passing.
