Jim Kenny Obituary, Death – We were shocked and saddened to learn of the demise of Mr. Jim Kenny, a rower who had competed for the Vartry Rowing Club in Wicklow, Ireland. Mr. Kenny had been a member of the club for many years. Mr. Kenny had been a part of the club for a considerable amount of time. A significant period of time had passed since Mr. Kenny’s initial involvement with the club. It had been a considerable amount of time since Mr. Kenny’s first participation with the club when we first met him.
On the occasion of Jim’s passing, the members of the Vartry Rowing Club and the rest of the Coastal Rowing Community of Ireland would like to extend their deepest condolences to Jim’s family and friends, as well as to the members of the Coastal Rowing Community of Ireland. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We are in a state of great sadness as a result of the news of Jim’s leaving.
In addition, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the members of the Vartry Rowing Club who were impacted in some way by this awful accident. The level of misery that we are experiencing is beyond our ability to comprehend, and as a direct result of this, our hearts are breaking. The news that Jim has passed away will affect each and every one of us in our own unique ways, but the fact that he has passed away will have some kind of bearing on each and every one of us in some way, shape, or form.
