Joann Gilbert Obituary, Death – We are keeping the family of Mrs. Joann Givens Gilbert in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time. Her daughter, Mrs. Cindy Gilbert Johnson, graduated from CHS in 1978, and her son, Mr. Charles Gilbert, graduated in 1990. Both of their names appear on their high school diplomas. Furthermore, both of their parents attended and received degrees from CHS. Joann Givens Gilbert had lived a full life and reached the age of 82 when she passed away on November 26, 2018. She passed away peacefully in the familiar surroundings of her own home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Joann was one of a total of 12 brothers and sisters that shared her family tree. Joann was born in Palmer, Tennessee, and she was one of those brothers and sisters. Her children are her daughter Cindy Gilbert (Scott) Johnson, her son Charles Gilbert, her grandson Nicholas (Jonay) Demetriades, and her great-granddaughter Ember. Her great-granddaughter Ember is also her offspring. In addition, she has a great-granddaughter who goes by the name Ember. A Celebration of Life will be held on the Sunday, December 4th, 2022 at the Hilldale Church of Christ, which can be found at 501 Highway 76, Clarksville, Tennessee 37040.
The date of the event is Sunday, December 4th, 2022. The gathering of loved ones and close friends will take place in the afternoon between the hours of 12:30 and 2:00, and the start of the service will take place at 2:15 o’clock. In lieu of sending flowers, contributions can be made through the Fuel Program at Hilldale Church of Christ to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association.
