Joe White Obituary, Death – Joe Wayne White, 82, died on December 5, 2022, at the Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. He was born and raised in Lawrence County, Tennessee, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Athens State University. He retired early from Murray Ohio, where he was Vice President of Production, a farmer, and a licensed real estate agent with Crye-Leike Realtors, after 44 years of service. Mr. White was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and the Ethridge Masonic Lodge No.777, both of which he had been a member for the past 50 years.

His parents, Claude and Mary Lipscomb White, as well as his first wife, Joyce Michael White, two brothers, C.A. White Jr. and Sammy White, and one sister, Willie Ruth White, all died before he was born. He is survived by his wife, Judy Pettus White of Ethridge, Tennessee, as well as three sons, Michael White (Darla) of Columbia, Tennessee, Scott White (Kellye) of Leipers Fork, Tennessee, and Wade Pettus (Sheila) of Loretto, Tennessee; two daughters, Anissa Mashburn (Mark) of Five Points, Tennessee, and Joann Hannah (Kenny) of Leoma, Tennessee; five grand The deacons of Immanuel Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers at the funeral. Honorary pallbearers will be all formerly employed Murray, Ohio residents.

Neal Funeral Home, located at 231 N. Military Avenue in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, will handle the arrangements. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Neal Funeral Home on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Reggie Coleman will preside over the funeral services, which will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neal Funeral Home. Following the service, interment will take place at the Highland Cemetery in Wayne County, Tennessee. Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Lawrence County Education Foundation, The Gideons International, or Second Harvest Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
