Jordan Florio Obituary, Death – Following the untimely passing of our cherished teammate and genuine club member Flozz, the club would like to offer its most heartfelt condolences to Flozz’s family and friends. We were all taken aback when we learned about Flozz’s passing.
Jordan “Flozza” Di Florio, who had been battling cancer for some time, passed died the Saturday before. He had lost the battle.
During his time with our club, Flozz played 198 games, during which he collected 204 wickets, maintained an average of 21.24, and posted a best bowling stats of 6/24.
In addition to that, he kept a batting average of 21.24. During our 2018/19 6th Grade premiership, in which he took 4/27 and was named the Man of the Match, he turned in one of the best performances of his career. He was also named the Man of the Match. In addition to this, the match’s Player of the Match award was bestowed upon him. He was awarded the title of “Man of the Match” due to the great effort he turned in during the match.
Even though Flozz was a great bowler and kept us entertained while we were on the lanes, he was an even better friend and club member when he wasn’t bowling. In fact, he was the best of both worlds. In point of fact, he possessed the positive qualities of both worlds. Within the Club, his presence will be sorely missed, and the fact that we gave him the number 24 jersey.
When we changed our colors is something that we will always cherish and remember fondly. When we made the switch, we are going to remember for the rest of our lives that we handed the jersey to him. Because we are competing in LMCC matches this week, all of our players will be showing appropriate respect for the contest by donning black arm bands.
