Juanita Best Glass was born on March 16, 1927, to her late parents, George Best and Ida Mae Whitehouse. Both of her parents have since passed away. Since then, neither of her parents has survived to this day. She will never forget the merry get-togethers of her Christian family that took place on Sundays at her parent’s house and were filled with lots of laughter and love. Juanita was the tenth of a total of eleven children born to her parents. People will remember her for many things, including how much she loved her family and how much passion she had for cooking. Both of these things will live on in people’s memories of her. Juanita frequently attended services at the Bridgeport Christian Church as her place of worship.

She is survived by her two sons, David Glass and Wesley Glass (who is married to Martha), her daughter, Alisa Edwards, her grandchildren Chris Glass (who is married to Christy), Brian Glass (who is married to Kristy), and Ashley Nguyen (who is married to Huu), and her four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Glass. Her husband, Jesse Carl Glass; granddaughter, Erin Glass; son-in-law, Mike Edwards; and her brothers and sisters all passed away before her. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Her parents were the first members of her family to pass away before any of her other relatives.
At the funeral service, the pallbearers will be Chris Glass, Brian Glass, Conner Glass, Larue Ruble, Mark Ruble, and Shawn Black in that order.
