Jude Calley Obituary, Death – Jude Calley of Austin, Texas died after injured in a car accident. He was a young Austin baseball player. A vigil was held on Friday night for Jude Calley, a member of the community of young baseball players in the area, who passed away the previous week. The parents, coaches, and players of the Leander Youth Baseball and Softball Alliance got together and planned the vigil, which took place at Benbrook Ranch Park and was organized by the group.

One of the people who assisted in the organization of the vigil was Brianna Sayles, who is both the mother of a baseball player and the wife of the team’s coach. She explained that the event was held to show the grieving Calley family ongoing support from the community at large. “It hit me on a very personal level because our children are approximately the same age as he is,” she said. Sayles elucidated the rationale behind their decision to assist him, stating that “it just felt like we should do something for him.”

Prayers were offered up for the Calley family, and the twelve individuals who were present discussed how becoming more knowledgeable about Jude inspired them to behave in a more sportsmanlike manner during their participation in the league. It has only been a few days since a large group of people gathered outside of the medical facility where Calley had been receiving treatment prior to the vigil that has been held. Worship songs were also sung, and those in attendance prayed for Calley and offered up prayers on her behalf.

Additionally, in reference to Calley this week, the hashtag “jerseysforjude” was trending on various social media platforms. Baseball teams from all over Austin, such as the Texas Longhorns baseball team and the Round Rock Express, have posted photos of their players on social media in an effort to send well wishes and express their hope that the young player will make a full recovery. For the benefit of the Calley family, a meal delivery service in the form of a “Meal Train” has been organized as a means of raising money. Click to visit the page.
