Junior Wine Obituary, Death – Melvin Junior Wine passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 78 years old. Melvin Junior Wine was a resident of Copen, West Virginia, at the time of his death. He left while still in the familiar surroundings of his own home. Junior Wine emerged on the scene on October 25, 1944, following in the footsteps of his parents, Melvin and Etta Wine. Junior Wine followed in the footsteps of his parents, Melvin and Etta Wine. His brothers Letcher Wine, Elmer Wine, and Jerry Wine all passed away before he did.

His death happened after theirs. Before he was even born, both of his parents had already passed away. He was an only child.
Junior worked for the IBEW electrical union for a while before he retired from the Braxton County Board of Education, where he had been employed as a school bus driver. Prior to his retirement, he spent some time working for the union. Junior put in a good amount of years of service there. Attending services at the Copen United Methodist Church on a consistent basis was something he did for the entirety of his life.

Junior cherished the opportunities he had to spend time with his family, particularly the opportunities he had to spend time with his grandchildren. There are eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; brothers named Grafton Wine, Denzil Wine, and Lewis Wine; sisters named Rita Cochran, Susie Wyant, and Havonda Wine; and a great-great-granddaughter named Avery Leigh Wine. He is survived by his wife, Sarah; sons named Melvin Gregory Wine.
