Kim Yelkin Obituary, Death – On the twelfth day of December in the year 2022, R. A funeral was held for Gregory “Jeep” Bloom, a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away. On July 9, 1937, in the city of Lincoln, Nebraska, Greg Bloom joined the world thanks to the efforts of his parents, George and Pauline (Mattison) Bloom. His formative years were spent in the city’s north-eastern quadrant, and it was in that area that he first developed an appreciation for music. Greg enlisted in the United States Army when he was 18 years old and spent the majority of his time there stationed in Germany.
Greg, who was also known as Jeep to the majority of his close friends and family members, spent his entire life working as a musician in a professional capacity. He started his professional career when he was 18 years old, and it lasted until the year 2001 when he was nominated for and inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame. He began his career as a musician. Jeep was a musician for his entire life. His enthusiasm for the guitar and bass was palpable throughout the many family jam sessions that we participated in, and he passed on that enthusiasm to his children and grandchildren, all of whom play with the same level of fervor. He was well-known for his comedic stylings that were similar to those of Gabby Hayes and for his vocal impersonations of Willie Nelson.
In addition to all of these things, Greg will be remembered for his thick silver hair, his passion for fishing, and his love of sunflower seeds. He never missed an opportunity to watch his team play baseball, basketball, volleyball, or football, and he always predicted that “another undefeated season ahead” was in store for the Nebraska Cornhusker athletic teams. He was arguably one of the most devoted Nebraska Cornhusker sports fans.
Douglas Robart (Terri), Dean Robart (Cristy), Deric Robart (Ivy), and Dustin Robart are the names of Greg Robart’s children (Jolin). Mindy Robart is Erik’s daughter. In addition to having ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, the grandparent has a large number of nieces and nephews as well.
