Kristine Rogers Obituary,  Death – Kristine S. (Kotuby) Rogers, who resided in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, passed away as a result of injuries she sustained in a collision with a motor vehicle. She was 50 years old at the time of her death. Her passing occurred on December 7th, 2022, exactly five years from now. The 19th of August, 1972 found Kristine being brought into the world in Ellwood City. Since the birth of their daughter, both of her parents have passed away. Her father, George R. “Butch” Kotuby, and her mother, Carol L. (Reeder) Kotuby. She received her diploma from Riverside High School in the year 1990 after completing all of the requirements for graduating from high school there and completing her education there.

The times when Kristine was able to develop close relationships with her children, including her nieces, nephew, great-nieces, and great-nephews, are among the experiences that she values the most in her life. She had a soft spot for all kinds of animals, but the majority of her affection was reserved for her cats. She is survived by her sister Pamela Weller of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, and uncles. She also leaves behind a number of great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. In addition, she has a number of great-great nieces and great-great nephews that she leaves behind. The same can be said for her father, George R. “Butch” Kotuby, who was also a native of North Sewickley Tp. and is still with us today.

Visitation is scheduled to take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the Monday, December 12th, 2022. Visitation will also take place on the Tuesday, December 13th, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing up until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. The service will be held on the Tuesday. The Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. will serve as the location for both of the upcoming events. The service will be presided over by Pastor Dennis Arndt, who also serves in that capacity. Immediately after the conclusion of the funeral services, the body will be transported to Locust Grove Cemetery for interment. In lieu of sending flowers, those who wish to do so are welcome to make a donation to the Lawrence County Humane Society in Kristine’s name.
