Kurt L. Nackers Obituary, Death – Kurt L. Nackers, who is now 39 years old and lives in Seymour, Wisconsin, was born on December 30, 1982, in Kaukauna. His parents are John L. Nackers and Sandra S. (Sprangers) Nackers. On November 28, 2022, Kurt finally calmed down and found peace in his home in Seymour, Wisconsin. Farming had always been Kurt’s cherished goal in life. Since he did not own a farm of his own, he spent each year assisting his friends who farmed with their planting and harvesting. Everyone benefited from having someone as handy as Kurt around the house. He was skilled in the repair of almost everything.
He fixed everything, from the snowplows used by the county to the poop spreaders used by farmers to the toys used by children. Kurt was the kind of person who had no problem striking up conversations with strangers and was generally outgoing. Because he was so warm and friendly, it was very simple to fall in love with him. Everywhere he went, there was always someone who recognized him.
Kurt was his happiest outdoors. Relaxing with his large camping group, which included his sister, was one of his favorite things to do. In addition to that, he went fishing, snowmobiling, and rode ATVs. Skeet shooting was something he indulged in on occasion. Kurt was the kind of person who would offer assistance to complete strangers simply out of the goodness of his heart. He never had a moment to himself.
He had the most generous and kindhearted heart that anyone could possibly have. The many years that Kurt spent serving as a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Oneida made him extremely proud. In addition to that, he served as the department’s Treasurer. He was a helping hand during their yearly tractor pull. After graduating from the program, Kurt became qualified to work as an EMT and an EMR. It brought him great joy to assist others.
Additionally, he held a certification in Ice and Water Rescue. Kurt was in possession of his CDLs, his Hazmat certification, as well as his pumper truck operator license. Snow was also Kurt’s favorite thing. He spent a lot of years plowing snow for shopping malls, small businesses, and residential homes. Kurt also volunteered his time to assist the church in preparing for the annual church picnic, and despite all of his other responsibilities, he still found time to assist his family. In addition to that, he was a donor of blood for the Red Cross. Sometimes we wondered if he ever slept.
Kurt worked as a Parts and Service Sales Representative for Trudell Trailer Sales for almost 20 years, during which time he was a dedicated employee there. He was devoted to his work and was held in high esteem by both his fellow employees and the people he served from all over the state. His mother Sandra S. Nackers; his brother Tony (Cara) Nackers and their children Wesley and Jace; his twin brother Kyle Nackers; his sister Cassandra Sherman and her two daughters Taylor and Kailey are among the loved ones he leaves behind.
He adored his daughter Rebecca. Also left behind are his mother Sandra S. Nackers. Additionally, he is leaving behind his closest companion Samuel (dog). Mary E. Sprangers, Kurt’s grandmother, who he was always eager to assist, is one of the people he leaves behind. It was fun for Kurt to plow the snow for her, and she cherished the time they got to spend together inside the house chatting after he was done. Kurt was blessed with a large number of aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends who numbered in the dozens.
His grandfather Leonard A. Sprangers, his grandmother and grandfather Albert and Eileen Nackers, and two of his cousins, Travis Vandenberg and Michael Vander Heiden, all passed away before Kurt. Kurt’s father, John L. Nackers, was the first member of Kurt’s family to pass away. Visitation for Kurt will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from three to six o’clock in the evening at the Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, which is located at N3972 Columbia Ave., Freedom, Wisconsin 54130.
After that, at six o’clock, there will be a prayer service. Please visit www.verkuilenfh.com if you would like to express your condolences to the family in an online message. “We Love you, Kurt. On the day that you left, a piece of our hearts broke, and there won’t be a single second, hour, or day when we won’t miss you. If only you could see yourself through the eyes of the people who love and care about you the most, you would understand the depth of our appreciation. What a unique and wonderful person you are. Always and for all time in our hearts.” —You and Your Family
