Larry Hill Obituary, Death – On December 4, 2022, Larry D. Hill, who was originally from Moundsville and lived in West Virginia, passed away at the WVU-Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was 69 years old. It was in the city of Glen Dale, West Virginia, that he was born on September 20th, 1953. His father, Frank Hill, had passed away, and his mother, Erma Wallace Hill, had also passed away before he was born. He was their son.
Larry Hill was the proprietor of Hill and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning in Moundsville. Larry also served as the company’s manager.

Both the National Rifle Association and the Moundsville Country Club counted him as a member at one time or another. Larry was a devoted member of the Baptist church, an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman, and a collector of hot rods and muscle cars. In addition, he had a passion for collecting classic cars.
His wife of forty years, Tonya Mercer Hill, continues to survive him, as do his two sons, Brandon Hill (Angela Ramirez) Hill and Zach Hill (Elisa), both of Moundsville; his three grandchildren, Dylan Hill, Payton Hill, and Layla Rodgers; two sisters, Joan (Harry) Whipkey of Hurricane, West Virginia and Debbie (Russell) Layman of Moundsville; and a brother, Donald Hill (Susan) Hill of Glen In the city of Moundsville, the Funeral Home and Crematory can be found at 400 Jefferson Avenue.

On Wednesday, friends and family are encouraged to stop by the funeral home between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 pm and 6:00 and 8:00 pm to pay their respects. On Thursday, at one o’clock in the afternoon, there will be funeral services, and the Reverend Ronald Wilfong will preside over them.
