Lee Miller Obituary, Death – After learning of the passing of Chief Lee Miller, the volunteers of the Union Grove Fire Department have sent their deepest condolences to the Center Square Fire Company as well as to the Miller family. Chief Miller served the Center Square Fire Department for many years. Chief Miller’s relationship with both of these organizations went back quite a ways in the past. Since Chief Miller was elevated to his current position sixteen years ago, a sizeable portion of his time has been devoted to assisting other firefighters from our local station while they are out on emergency calls.
These calls can range from minor to life-threatening. Because he was given this responsibility as his major responsibility after being promoted, it is significant to him. Lee exemplified everything that is required to be an effective leader, mentor, and fireman. He was an inspiration to all. He made it possible for others to follow in his footsteps by paving the path. He served as an example to a huge number of people, who looked up to him as a source of motivation. He was the perfect example of each of these qualities, and he served as a role model for all of them.
Thank you so much for all of the hard work that you have put in, Chief, and also for the attention that you have shown not only to the people who live in Whitpain Township, but also to the people who lived in Upper Gwynedd when the alarm was issued! I really appreciate it! You have our highest thanks and gratitude.
