Lee Yeazell Obituary, Death – Lee Paul Yeazell, 74, of Cincinnati, Ohio died on November 25th, 2022. Lee was born on August 10, 1948, to Raymond and Martha Yeazell. Keller, nee. On December 22, 1973, Lee married Carol Rose Dreyer. Their two sons, Daniel and Michael, were born to them. Lee graduated from Elder High School in 1966 and went on to the Athenaeum of Ohio, where he earned a Bachelor of Philosophy and Master’s degrees in Speculative Philosophy and Theology.
With his friends and family, Lee enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He joined a band in high school and frequently performed at local events. Leeboy was a nickname given to him by his bandmates and college friends. His friends and his nickname stuck with him for the rest of his life. A yearly guy’s trip is still organized by many men. He combined his musical and liturgical interests after college. Lee was a proud religion teacher at St. Xavier High School for 27 years, and she was also the school’s first lay Campus Minister, organizing numerous school masses and leading student retreats.
He previously taught religion at LaSalle High School, where he dedicated his entire career to assisting young men in discovering and developing their relationship with God. Lee enjoyed himself at the party. He led the family in Christmas Carols at the annual family gathering with his mother, siblings, nieces, and nephews. Lee also enjoyed planning and organizing the annual Dreyer Family Pool Party in his backyard, which over the years included Elvis sightings, water balloon tosses, the Elder Steel Drum Band, the Olympic Games, and much more. Leeboy, of course, thought of everything.
Lee was a loving wife, father, and grandfather. He found joy in assisting and loving others, especially his granddaughters. Carol, his wife of 48 years, and his sons Daniel (Jacqueline) and Michael (Erin); granddaughters Haylie, Alexandra, Aubrey, and Victoria; sister Gail Miller; and brothers Bruce Yeazell, Charles Yeazell, and John Yeazell survive him. In addition to his parents, Lee was predeceased by his brother Raymond Yeazell.
