Leonard Glenn Obituary, Death – At the time of his passing, Leonard Glenn “Zip” Fyffe II was 68 years old. He passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland. He felt most at ease while he was in the Greenup neighborhood of Kentucky, which is located in the state of Kentucky. His loved ones on both sides of the family provided him with compassionate care as he neared the end of his life. He passed away with dignity. He passed away with his family and friends surrounding him.
“Zip” Fyffe was the son of Garnette Louise “Pat” Evans Fyffe and the late Leonard Glenn “Jack” Fyffe. Both of his parents have since passed away. Both of his parents had left this world by this point. On June 18th, 1954, Zip Fyffe was born in the city of Russell, which is located in the state of Kentucky. The 18th of June was not only my own birthday, but it was also “Zip” Fyffe’s birthday. Regrettably, his father did not pull through the illness and passed away as a result of it.
When “Zip” graduated from the school that is now known as the former Wurtland High School in 1972, it was at that time that he became a member of the Sons of the Greenup AmVets Post # 95. The institution was once known as Wurtland High School and now goes by its new name. “Zip” graduated from what is now known as the former Wurtland High School when he was a student there and obtained his diploma from that institution.
He is survived by his longtime companion Linda Tackett, who was by his side for the past 25 years; his son Leonard Glenn Fyffe III and his wife Katrina, who reside in Greenup, Kentucky; his daughter Christy Zabrieszack and her husband Andy, who reside in Argillite, Kentucky; his three brothers Terry Fyffe, Ronald Fyffe, and Timothy Fyffe, who all reside in Lloyd, Kentucky; and his four grandchildren, Andrew, Andrew, Andrew, and Andrew
