Marissa’s death news was confirmed through a Facebook post; I’m devastated to learn of the death of Marissa Viola, a dear neighbor and friend. I’m grateful for the opportunity to see you and catch up a few weeks ago, and it breaks my heart to know that it will be the last time. As kids, we shared so many memories that I will never forget. Playing four square in your driveway, kick ball in the cul de sac, random board games at your strange neighbor across the street’s house, constantly playing school in Brittany’s garage, singing on the swing set in your backyard.
I know we didn’t communicate as much as we used to, but despite not seeing you very often, I’ve always adored you and your entire family. You are such a lovely soul, and it saddens me to see you go so soon, but I know your love, soul, and beauty will live on. I’m sending my love to the rest of the Viola family during this difficult time. I understand how it feels to lose someone too soon, and I’m sorry you’re all going through it. I adore you all and regard you as family.
