Matt Goudie Obituary, Death – On behalf of Matt and Mackenzie Goudie and their families, we are making a request for financial assistance in order to cover medical, living, and memorial expenses. On the morning of November 26, our dear friend Matt passed out suddenly. Even though he was given the most advanced and prompt medical treatment, he still suffered significant and irreparable brain damage. He remained in a coma until the afternoon of Saturday, December 3, when he passed away and went to be with the Lord. Prior to that, he had been in a vegetative state.

Everyone who had the opportunity to spend time with Matt and get to know him can attest to the fact that he was a God-fearing, loving, hard-working, and humble man who had a profound love for his wife, his friends, and his family. He was an excellent lover thanks to his generous and welcoming heart. He was not one to shy away from challenging tasks and was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in his immediate vicinity. Together with his wife, he was active in the Children’s ministry at their home church, West End, and he also participated in the Young Couples small group.

Love, support, and prayers are all things that would be helpful to his wife, Mackenzie, as well as to their families. Could you please pray that God will give comfort to Mackenzie and their families during this difficult time? If you are able, please take into consideration making a direct donation to help alleviate the burden of the financial costs associated with medical, living, and memorial expenses.

The funeral will be held at West End Church (802 Shepherd Dr, Houston, TX 77007) in the afternoon of Wednesday, December 7th. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. After the service, there will be a reception held in the church.
