Matthew Bailey Obituary, Death – Matthew Wayne Bailey fought valiantly against cancer for 61 years before succumbing to the disease on November 19, 2022, at the age of 61. He passed away in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loved ones, including his twin brother Mark, who had been providing him with medical care. At the age of 16, he began his training in the art of upholstery, and after completing his apprenticeship at Banes Upholstery in Callao, he went on to work as an upholsterer there. Matthew was a talented painter who worked in oil and acrylic, and he created beautiful works of art on saw blades. His work may be seen in both private and public collections. Matthew utilized most of his spare time going fishing, hunting, and simply spending time outside in the fresh air.
Matthew is survived by a son named Dustin Matthew Bailey (Katie), a grandson named Jameson Bailey, his cherished identical twin, Mark Thomas Bailey, his siblings Clifford Bailey, Craig Bailey, Laurie Banes, Helen Banes, David Banes, and Donald Banes, his cherished nephew, Mark Alexander Coates, as well as a large number of other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Matthew passed away on February 1, 2019. The death of Matthew occurred on April 15, 2019. Before Matthew was born, all of his relatives, including his grandparents James Edward Banes and Barbara Jean Burgess Banes and John Thomas Bailey, as well as his two brothers Butch Banes and Daniel Banes, had already passed away. Matthew is a name that honors Matthew’s parents and grandparents.
There will only be immediate family members present at the funeral service.
