Michael Freeman Obituary, Death – On the sad occasion of Michael Freeman’s demise, the members of The Moonlighters would like to express their deepest condolences to his family, as well as to his many friends and admirers. Michael was a close friend in addition to being the band’s lead guitarist. He battled cancer bravely for a lengthy length of time before succumbing to its effects. He never stopped playing the guitar for us, and he always performed from the heart, which made his incredible playing approachable for all of us to hear and appreciate.

He would play the guitar for us every time, regardless of whether we were standing or sitting. It was a blessing for all of us that he was able to continue performing with us for as long as he was able to do so, and his final performance was back in the fall of this past year. He had been able to do so for as long as he was able to do so. Over the course of more than three decades, he served as the embodiment of the band’s interpretation of the cool guy ideal, which was something that we all aspired to be.

This was something that we all looked up to him for. He was the epitome of what it is to be a good member of a team, and he had an excellent sense of humor. A man who avoided confrontation at all costs, he was also well-known for his role as an arbitrator in a multitude of different band feuds. Therefore, I pray that God will bless you, Michael, and that “Little Wing” will have a safe flight into the sky, with the knowledge that we will finally catch up to you. May God bless you and may God bless Little Wing.
