Pauline Kolodzey Obituary, Death –  Pauline M. Kolodzey, who was formerly known as Sawyer, passed away on December 6th, 2022 in the township of Washington. Age 47. Christopher’s treasured wife and partner in the marriage. unyielding in her love and devotion to her son Nicholas. A loving daughter to her parents, Gary and Frances, she is devoted to them (nee Robertson). Sister-in-law of Frank (Karen), Carmen (Sarah), and Gregory (Christine) Sawyer Devoted sister of Frank, Carmen, and Gregory Sawyer Thank you so much for being such an amazing aunt to Arianna, Nathan, Alexandra, Luca, Finn, and Brooklyn. Sincerely, the sister-in-law of Dr. Elizabeth Kolodzey, Catherine Kolodzey (Kristen Russell), and Joseph Kolodzey, Catherine Kolodzey (Kristen Russell) and Joseph Kolodzey (Dr. Chad Barritt).

Pauline has devoted her entire life to assisting other people, spending her entire professional career working tirelessly as a school guidance counselor and therapist. It’s possible that this will sound as trite as it reads, but Pauline really did live her life with the intention of achieving this goal. The culmination of Pauline’s education was the attainment of not one but two master’s degrees. The time that Pauline was able to spend at the beach and in the water was something that she treasured. She cherished every opportunity she had to spend time with her son Nicholas because she believed he was the single most important person in the entire world. Nicholas was her firstborn child.

The well-being of others, rather than her own, was almost always Pauline’s primary concern, rather than her own. Some of her favorite works of fiction, movies, and other forms of entertainment include: The Secret of Nim, The Last Unicorn, Empire Records, The Fox and the Hound, Star Wars (almost all of them), anything having to do with a Jane Austen novel, Grease, Goodies, and Legends of the Fall. In addition to that, she enjoys reading the works of Jane Austen. Pauline was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a wife, and a coworker; however, the role of motherhood was the one that meant the most to her throughout her entire life… and to top it all off, she was a hockey mom!!!!

I pray that she will at last find peace in heaven. Her wake will be held at the Egizi Funeral Home in Washington Twp on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, and again on Thursday morning from 8:15 to 9:15 AM. The funeral home is located at 119 Ganttown Rd. A funeral service in accordance with the Christian faith will take place at the Church of the Holy Family in Washington Twp at ten o’clock in the morning.
