Rick Stevenson Obituary, Death – We are grieved to inform you of the demise of Rick Stevenson, who served as a Wayne Township Trustee for a long time and was very well liked by his peers. His passing has left us with shattered hearts. Everyone will grieve his passing in their own unique ways. This discouraging information was conveyed with us along with many messages of grief for the loss that has occurred.
Rick’s bids for the position of trustee in Wayne Township, where he has previously held that office on a number of occasions, were successful in all four of the elections in which he participated as a candidate. Rick was elected to his position as a trustee for Wayne Township in 2006 and continued to serve in that capacity until 2019, when he made the announcement that he will retire from public service. Because he was so certain that it was his responsibility to “give people a hand up, not a hand out,” he was able to make important contributions to the development of Wayne Township.

He believed that carrying out such actions was a necessary component of his profession.
