Roger Pearce Obituary, Death – Roger Pearce has been a part of an extensive variety of productions that span all genres, and he has held senior management positions in the operations of transmission, news, sports, and facilities. In addition, Roger Pearce has been involved in the production of a wide range of media. After beginning his career in broadcasting as an Engineer at Grampian TV, where he worked in both the studios and outside broadcasts, he went on to work in other ITV regions, including TVs and Meridian, before joining the ITV network for sports coverage.
During his time at ITV, he covered a wide variety of sporting events, including football, baseball, and basketball. At the moment, he holds a position as an Engineer for the sports coverage department of the ITV network. In 1988, he took part in the Olympic Games, and ever since then, he has been a member of the ITV Sports Major Events team. After getting hired at ITV Sport in 2001, he began working there on a permanent basis as a Technical Producer. He began this role in the year 2001. In the year 2008, he was presented with the opportunity to take on the role of Technical Director at the company.
In more recent years, he has been in charge of ITV Sport’s output’s technical planning as well as its operational management.
