Ron Kilpatrick Obituary, Death – During this week, as the Kilpatrick family mourns the loss of their husband, father, and grandfather, we want them to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them and that we are thinking about and praying for them. Ron Kilpatrick taught secondary science at a number of schools over the course of his career. Some of these schools include Pensacola Christian Academy (which is located in Pensacola, Florida), Falls Road Baptist Church School (which is located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina), and Hampton Park Christian School (Greenville, SC).
During his time at Emmanuel Christian School in Hartsville, South Carolina, he served in several administrative capacities for a number of years, during which time he also taught at the school. When Ron moved his family back to Greenville in 1987, his first job was as a construction foreman for Edwards Builders. Later, he returned to his previous career in education. In addition to his roles as a teacher and administrator, Ron was well-liked in the roles of athletic director and coach at the school where he worked. He was well-known for his kindness, as well as for his wise counsel and profound sayings.
A significant percentage of our previous pupils have very warm feelings of recall toward Mr. Kilpatrick. We welcome you to share those memories with us in the comments section, and we will make sure that the family sees them when they are posted. At Woodlawn Memorial Park, a committal service will take place at three o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, December 8, 2022. The day and year of the event are still to be determined. On the day of the memorial service, which is planned to take place at the Hampton Park Baptist Church on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM, the visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. The ceremony itself will begin at 11:00 AM. There will be a live stream of the ceremony available on the Internet at hamptonpark.org.
