Sharron Burchard Obituary,  Death – Mrs. Sharron “Grannie” Burchard, who had reached the age of 77 when she passed away on December 7, 2022 at 10:39 in the morning at her home in Melber, was unable to continue living there. She worked as a bus driver for Graves County Schools for a significant portion of her life before eventually retiring and becoming a member of the Nondenominational Christian Fellowship Church. She was a member of that congregation during that time period as well.

She is survived by her husband, Randall Burchard, one daughter, Kim Jackson (and her husband Terry), of Melber, one son, Greg Burchard (and his wife Anne), of Melber, one sister, Charlene Feezor of Lowes, one brother, Larry Petty of Lowes, and six grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Charlene Feezor, and her husband Terry. Travis Jackson, Michalea (J. T.) Jackson, Kyle (Lindsey) Burchard, Kelsie Burchard, and Savannah Fikes are some of these grandchildren. Her death occurred prior to that of both of her parents, Charles Watson Petty and Frances Watson Petty. Before she did, both of them had already left this world.

The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield will be open to visitors on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, allowing anyone who wishes to pay their respects there. The funeral will take place at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield on the afternoon of Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM. The date and time are subject to change. Both Mr. Phillip Farris and Mr. Darin Jensen have agreed to serve as the ceremony’s masters of ceremonies. When the funeral service has come to a close, the deceased’s body will be interred in the family plot in the Allcock Cemetery. During the funeral service, Jimmy Mathis, Jeremy Burchard, Tim Jackson, Brad Mathis, Chris Mathis, Marty Feezor, and Johnny Mathis will serve as pallbearers. Also in attendance will be Marty Feezor. In addition to that, Marty Feezor will act as an honorary pallbearer.
