Sherry Hefty Obituary, Death – At the age of 56, Sherry Lynn Hefty passed away at her residence in Hamilton on the 5th of December, 2022. Her birthday is January 6, 1966, and she was born in Angola. Sherry attended Hamilton High School and graduated in the year 1984. On April 6, 2002, Sherry was united in matrimony to Keven R. Hefty in Hamilton. She worked there for a number of years as the manager of the Marathon Hamilton Deli. She looked forward to the morning coffee gang and chatting with all of the Marathon’s regulars. Sherry attended services at the Hamilton Church of Christ throughout her life.

In addition to that, she cherished the warm companionship and camaraderie shared with her neighbors. She had a soft spot in her heart for her animals, but her world centered on her adoring grandchildren. Surviving members of her family include her mother, Pam (Gorrell) Aldrich of Hamilton, her husband, Kevin Hefty of Hamilton, two stepchildren and their spouses, Philip (Lindsay) Hefty of Auburn and Sunnette and Jeremy Lloyd of Fort Wayne, five grandchildren, Damian Hefty, Riece Hefty, Constance Lloyd, Mattix Lloyd, and Phoenix Lloyd, her sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Rick Rinehart of Her father, Robert Hepburn, passed away before she did, so she is an orphan.

Jeff Alexander will preside over the memorial service that will be held on Thursday evening at 6 o’clock at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, which is located at 875 S. Wayne St. in Waterloo. Before the funeral service on Thursday, there will be a time for family and friends to gather at the funeral home from three to six o’clock in the afternoon. At a later time, there will be a cremation followed by a private burial. Both the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County and the DeKalb Humane Society are worthy recipients of memorial donations.
