Stanley Tolbert Obituary, Death – Although it may come as a shock to some of you that this is the current state of affairs, the fact that this is the case does not change despite the fact that this may be the case for some of you. As soon as I opened my eyes this morning, I was confronted with the unfortunate reality that my grandfather, Stanley Tolbert, had passed away the night before. The fact that I considered Stanley to be a hero is the root of both my admiration and respect for him. He was someone I looked up to. He earned both my respect and admiration by commanding them.
When I was only 10 months old, he took me in as a foster child, and by the time I was three years old, he had full custody of me. He adopted me when I was three years old. Following that, it was just the two of us versus the rest of the world in regard to that particular circumstance. When it was just the two of us, we were always able to figure out a way to make it through any difficult circumstance that we found ourselves in. It was a great deal more challenging whenever there were other people involved. In spite of the fact that he is no longer here with us, I will be able to prevail over this challenge as a result of everything that he has taught me to learn in the past. This is what will allow me to do so.
This photograph, in which he can be seen sitting to the left of the frame next to his niece Jan Brooks and his nephew Charles can be seen standing in the background, is the way that he would want everyone to remember him. He was living the life of his dreams while proudly giving the world around him the middle finger. He was living the life of his dreams. He was encircled by the members of his family that he cherished and cared for so deeply.
