Steve Leimberg Obituary, Death – After hearing the tragic news that Steve Leimberg has passed away, I have the unsettling sensation that my heart is about to stop beating altogether. In addition to being a talented photographer, Steve was a good-natured and generous individual. He had a kind and gentle nature. His body of work in photography has garnered him a great deal of acclaim. The work that he produced was a reflection of these qualities in his life and personality. In addition to all of that, he possessed an extraordinary level of artistic skill. When he takes a picture of a person, he is able to flawlessly capture the likeness of that person in each and every one of those pictures that he takes.
He does this for every person that he photographs. It fills me with an indescribable feeling of honor and pride to be able to say that I am one of the uncountable members of this community who have paid him a visit and spent some time in his studio at some point in their lives. His studio has been visited by members of this community at some point in their lives. This is something that I will always be able to testify to, regardless of how long I continue to live. Because he was the one who took all of the official author photos of me, I will be grateful to him for the rest of my life, and I will continue to be grateful to him in the future as well.
Those are the photos that he took for me. I will spend the rest of my life being grateful to him for everything he has done. His sole request in exchange for his assistance with the project was to be given a photo credit in recognition of the fact that he had contributed to it. That was the one and only item on his Christmas list of requirements. You can find him toiling away in that massive photographic studio and darkroom that is situated way up there in the clouds at the moment. You’ll need to go through those stairs in order to reach your destination. I hope and pray that whatever the future holds for you, Steve, it will be filled with joy and satisfaction in whatever form it takes.
