Tony Defatte Obituary,  Death – We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Tony Defatte, who was the president of Defatte Equipment, Inc. and the company’s founder. The Defatte Equipment brand will suffer greatly as a result of his absence. Tony, who had spent the majority of his life in Ukiah and had reached the age of 61 when he passed away on November 22, 2022, did so at his home in Ukiah with members of his family by his side. Tony had been a resident of Ukiah for the majority of his life. Tony was a visionary who started a small forklift business in Ukiah and grew it into a full-scale equipment sales and rental business that serves all of Lake and Mendocino Counties.

Tony’s business now serves all of Lake and Mendocino Counties. The customer base for Tony’s company has expanded to include all of Lake and Mendocino Counties. Both counties are eligible to receive assistance from the business at the present time. Tony was always thrilled when he learned about the many different projects that his customers were working on. He also took pleasure in tinkering with the most up-to-date pieces of machinery, and on occasion, he would ride along with the delivery driver so that he could visit the work sites and speak with his customers.

Because he had such a significant influence on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to have known him, everyone who will miss him in some capacity will do so in their own unique way. Funeral services will be held at the Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah on Tuesday, November 17, at eleven in the morning. The deceased person’s birthday is November 17. Donations in memory of the deceased that are made to the Ukiah hospice in lieu of flowers will be gratefully accepted at the service.
