Vivian Barbour Obituary, Death – Vivian “Lucille” Barbour, who had been a resident of Clarksburg, Missouri, passed away at the California Care Ctr. in California at the age of one hundred. on December 8, 2022. Both of her parents, Henry Alfred Comer and Iola (Gabriel) Comer, had passed away prior to the time of her birth on September 12, 1922 in Morgan County, which is where she was born. She was their daughter. Her first marriage was to Paul Yarnell, and then she had subsequent marriages to Virgil Barbour. Sadly, both of her spouses predeceased her before she did.
Lucille’s employment with the Stride Rite Shoe Company spanned a significant portion of her life. In addition, she had a fruitful career at the Clarksburg School for a number of years, where she took great pleasure in assisting the pupils. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in the past, but as of late she has been observed attending Oakland Church on a more regular basis. Fishing, cooking, socializing with friends and family, and going out to eat were some of Lucille’s favorite activities. She also enjoyed going out to eat.
She is survived by her son Russell Yarnell of California, Missouri; her two daughters Kathy Murphy (Larry) of California, Missouri and Sherry Tuttle of Clarksburg, Missouri; her son-in-law Billy Meyer of California, Missouri; her stepson Joe Barbour and her stepdaughter Pauline Klenz, both of Lomita, California; her stepdaughter in-law Lois Ann Barbour of Granbury, Texas; her 13 grandchildren; and Her baby child Bobby Comer, her son Visitation will be held on the Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and the funeral ceremony will commence straight after at 11:00 AM. Both events will take place on the same day. in the mortuary or Crematory, whichever comes first. This competition will have Andrew Kuttenkuler acting in the role of referee.
